OUR STORY

Those that know me, know how much I love to inspire lifelong learning for my children. In 2022, our sweet 3 year old was diagnosed with Leukemia. Our whole world became (and usually still is) beating cancer. With our little boy unable to go to school and me unable to teach, my focus became creating meaningful play and learning in our home. Each month I created a play shelf and activities dedicated to a theme. We absolutely adored our new way to play, read, and learn. This took our minds off of what was happening, and created such a love of reading and learning! Eventually, friends, family, and neighbors began borrowing our play shelves, books, and activities. Their feedback was SO incredible! With this in mind, Pinch of Play began!

Pinch of Play is dedicated to creating purposeful play and learning for all young children. Each Purposeful Play Kit comes with printed and laminated activities, a children’s book, art and craft projects, plans to create your own themed play shelf, and more. I am so thankful to be able to create enriching experiences for my own family and for others to enjoy with theirs!
